A diamond with 0.73 to 0.76 carats forms the medium size category of our investment diamonds for asset protection. A ¾-carat diamond is anything but "medium-class", though. As with all diamonds, a three-quarter carat diamond likewise combines high mobility with a high concentration of value.

The three-quarter-carat diamond as an investment diamond

As with all of our diamonds for asset protection, the three-quarter-carat diamonds also exhibit perfect brilliant cuts. All DIAMONDAS investment diamonds are provided with an expert report from the world's most renowned testing institute, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This independent appraisal report confirms the precise weight (in carats), the excellent cut quality, the colour and the clarity (known as the 4 Cs determining the price of diamonds) to you. These days an additional factor known as the 5th C is the certificate of a diamond. For the reason we rely exclusively on the world's most recognised certificate from the GIA for our customers.

Investment diamonds and their price development

You will find all of the important information on the price development of our DIAMONDAS three-quarter-carat diamonds in our price development chart. Please note that all diamonds are traded in US dollars (USD) due to the international nature of the diamond market. The price of a diamond in euros (EUR) therefore depends on the current exchange rate with the dollar. If you buy one or more diamonds from us to protect your assets then the rate of exchange with the USD at the time the order is placed will determine the price.

You should know: Diamonds require experience and expertise

When determining the quality of diamonds even the smallest crystalline pinpoint inclusions or inclusions of foreign minerals that are only visible to the human eye under greater than 10 times magnification greatly influence the quality and thereby the price of a diamond as well. Only experts with many years of experience can correctly assess all of the parameters to determine the price of a diamond.

We at DIAMONDAS focus exclusively on the best possible quality for our customers: from our perspective only internally flawless diamonds with an excellent cut in the best colours come into consideration for a diamond investment. As with many diamond experts throughout the world, we rely exclusively on the certificate of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This institute and its certificate is a guarantee of extraordinary quality.

With each DIAMONDAS investment diamond that you purchase from us you will receive an individual GIA certificate for that specific diamond only. The certificate number of the certificate for the diamond is laser engraved on each diamond by the GIA. You can thereby always be certain of the quality of your gemstone.

This procedure also ensures that you can obtain the best possible price on the market if you choose to resell it to a third party.

Naturally we at DIAMONDAS only sell diamonds for asset protection for which full traceability from ethical origins can be proven. Upon delivery you will receive a binding confirmation that the investment diamond you have purchased complies with the directives of the European Community and regulations of the United Nations.

Diamonds as asset protection

Stocks, gold and silver are not the only things that can be used to protect your assets. This is because selected alternative material assets offer the ability to set up long-term protection against inflation and transform liquid assets into a secure investment for the future more than anything else.

DIAMONDAS customers tell us that they secure approximately 5% of their assets through the purchase of investment diamonds. This investment in diamonds is intended to secure assets for generations.

It is primarily diamonds that have always held a high reputation as "the world's hardest currency": They have maintained their value through all political and economic events.

This is because the search for the right investment for asset protection is becoming more and more difficult. Stocks and bonds are too fraught with risk. A diamond is a future-proof investment. This is because a diamond has decisive advantages. The price of diamonds has increased over the last 25 years, for example. Even the influences of market conditions were unable to have an effect on the price of diamonds. A diamond also holds the greatest value in the smallest space. An excellent brilliant-cut diamond weighing four carats (0.8 gram), for instance, is worth as much as 10 kg of gold. These and numerous other advantages make the diamond a valuable investment for the future.

If you consider material assets such as diamonds to be an investment then you have made the right decision to come to DIAMONDAS because we are available to you as a competent and reputable partner.
